Carrie L. Shaw joined the firm as an associate in August 2009. She specializes in domestic relations, civil litigation, as well as all other areas of law in which the firm specializes.
Carrie received her B.A. in Criminal Justice combined with an Honors Degree from the University of Wyoming in 2005. She was a member of a variety of clubs during her undergraduate studies including Forensic Science, Epsilon Omega the Criminal Justice club, Chandra Wyoga, and was a member of Golden Key National Honor Society.
In May 2009 she graduated from the University Of Wyoming College Of Law. While in law school, Carrie served as Vice President and President of the Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice was a member of the Environmental Law Club. Carrie was a member of the championship Rothgerber Trial Advocacy Competition team in both 2008 and 2009. Both years the team attended the regional competition, once in Las Vegas, Nevada and once in Seattle Washington. The team placed third overall in the Seattle regional competition. Carrie also served as the student director for the Domestic Violence Legal Assistance Project from May 2008 until May 2009 in which was able to represent indigent victims of domestic violence throughout the State of Wyoming.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys snowboarding, camping, hiking, reading and traveling.
