An associate with the firm, Rin Karns received her undergraduate degree in French Language and Literature from Baylor University. In 2006, she graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law and was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif.
While in law school, Rin served as President of the Board of Advocates, advanced to the regional level of the National Moot Court Competition and received the Excellence in Advocacy Award. In addition to publishing a case note in the Wyoming Law Journal, she worked as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant aiding students in writing legal memoranda and appellate briefs. During her final semester in law school, as a prosecution assistance intern, Rin wrote appellate briefs and argued twice before the Wyoming Supreme Court.
Prior to law school, Rin worked as assistant press secretary for a congressman in Washington, D.C. She then moved to Dallas where she taught AP French in a public high school for a number of years before going to law school.
In her time away from the office, Rin enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, reading and snowshoeing.
