Tim M. Stubson, a partner in the firm, received his undergraduate degree in International Studies from the University of Wyoming. He was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year and is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi. He graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1997 and was awarded membership in the order of the coif.

Prior to law school, Tim served as the Boards and Commissions Administrator in the Wyoming Governor’s Office. There he assisted in the selection of gubernatorial appointees and advised the Governor on issues related to Wyoming’s numerous citizen boards and commissions.

While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Land and Water Law Review and also published a case note in that journal. Following graduation, Tim served as a judicial law clerk to United States District Judge William F. Downes before joining the firm.

Tim’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, particularly employment law defense and issues involving real property and also creditors bankruptcy. He is currently admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Wyoming.

In his time away from the office, Tim is an active member in the community. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Natrona County International Airport and on the Board of the Natrona County Child Development Center. He also enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, golf, and spending time with his wife, Susan, and their sons, Finnegan and Meade.
