Morris Massey is the senior partner of Brown, Drew & Massey, LLP. He graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1958 and joined the firm as an associate that year. Morris was the recipient of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation scholarship and received numerous book awards. He was an editor of the Wyoming Law Journal (now the Land and Water Law Review) in his junior and senior years. Morris received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Wyoming. He was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year and is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa.
Morris engages in a commercial and business practice with emphasis in the natural resources area. He has extensive experience in the litigation of issues arising in these practice areas. He is listed in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the Corporate Law, Natural Resources and Environmental Law, and Real Estate Law areas and is a Fellow in the Academy of Appellate Lawyers. He served on the board of directors of a Casper Bank and has also served on the boards of several non-profit community organizations.
Morris and his wife, Susan, have two adult children. For outdoor recreation, he enjoys golf and fly fishing.
