Randall B. Carnahan, an associate in the firm, received associate degrees in Business Administration and Law Enforcement from Casper College in 1985. He graduated suma cum laude from Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology in 1990. He received his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Arizona in 1993. He graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2002.
Prior to law school, Randy served as a deputy sheriff for the Natrona County Sheriffs department and then as a police officer, detective, and sergeant with the Casper Police Department. Randy was heavily involved in the training of new officers and performed many child abuse and child sexual abuse investigations, working closely with several social service agencies in the area.
While in law school, he was a member of the Wyoming Law Review senior staff and also published a comment in that journal. He worked in the legal services clinic during his last year of law school where he had extensive experience in divorce and child custody. He also served as a Guardian Ad Litem, representing the best interests of several children.
Randys practice focuses on litigation, real estate, contracts, business formulation, oil & gas, estate planning and administrative law. He is currently admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Wyoming.
In his time away from the office, Randy enjoys spending time with his family. |
