Jeff Brinkerhoff is one of the firm's principal trial lawyers. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America and is recognized by Martindale Hubbell with its highest Av rating. He has years of experience in a broad range of litigation including numerous jury trials in state and federal court. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Jeff served in the United States Naval Security Group as a Russian and Spanish Linguist and was a language school honor graduate. After his military service, he helped found and direct a firm of private investigators where he gained invaluable experience preparing many lawsuits for trial. While in law school, he was awarded the Paul Stock Foundation Scholarship and he was a member of the Law Review which published a casenote and a comment he authored. He joined Brown, Drew & Massey, LLP in 1984 and, since then, has specialized in civil litigation, including jury trials and appeals, for both defendants and plaintiffs. His areas of concentration include medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, personal injury and general tort litigation for plaintiffs and defendants.
Jeff is a member of the State and County Bar Associations, the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, the Wyoming Defense Lawyers Association, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and the J. Rueben Clark Law Society. He is active in his church and in community affairs and serves in leadership positions in service organizations, including the United Way, where he served as Campaign Chairman and President of the Board of Directors. Jeff and his wife, Bennie, have five children and he enjoys family activities, skiing, sports, music and theater.
